Whatever you are worried about with your pet you will find us willing to listen. We endeavour to provide knowledgeable and caring advice that is tailored to you and your pet’s needs. The Practice has a wealth of experience in small animal medicine & surgery but where more specialist advice is required we will happily refer you to the most appropriate expert.
The modern equipment and technology at our clinic provides a high level of diagnostic capability, utilising X-rays, Ultrasound, Electrocardiography (ECG), in-house laboratory, blood testing and critical care analysis – vital in the approach to the emergency case whether it be a road accident, poisoning, or a difficult birth.
House Visits – It is usually in your pet’s best interests to be seen at the surgery where we have the best environment for proper examination and all the appropriate supporting diagnostic or therapeutic equipment immediately to hand. However there are occasional circumstances where a house visit will be necessary and this can be determined on discussion with the duty Vet. Please remember that house visits may be expensive due to the extra time involved.
Out of Hours Cover – Accidents & emergencies happen and not always during surgery hours. We provide 24hour emergency cover either directly ourselves or through another local Veterinary Practice. Simply ring the usual Practice telephone number 01387 259111 for access to the on-duty Vet. This service will attract a small out of hours surcharge in order to cover the extra costs and commitment required for its provision.
Our paramount aim is to help you and your pets have a happy, healthy life together, but as the end of your pet’s life approaches, and when the time is right, we will ensure a peaceful and dignified passing.
